Club HistoryThe Crescent City Rotary Club was organized in 1953. Current membership includes 50 individuals who comprise a cross-section of the community's business and professional men and women. Club members live and/or work in the beautiful community of Crescent City, California, nestled on the Northern California coast at the northern end of the redwood parks. Our main objective is service — in the community, in the workplace, and throughout the world. We develop community service projects that address many of today's most critical issues. We also support programs for youth, educational opportunities and international exchanges for students. The Rotary motto is Service Above Self. Paul Harris FellowsPaul Harris Fellows are those individuals who have donated $1,000 or more to Rotary International's polio eradication efforts. Rotarians who have already earned the distinction of being Paul Harris Fellows can donate additional funds in the names of family members and friends. Crescent City Rotary Club has 99 Paul Harris Fellows who have contributed over $160,000 to this effort over the club's 50 year history. The individuals named below are Crescent City Rotary Club's Paul Harris Fellows.
Past PresidentsRotary Clubs depend for their leadership upon members who are willing to stand up and take a turn at the role of President. Often those who accept the role are already the busiest people beyond the club, but they accept this one additional responsibility because they believe in the mission of Rotary, they love their fellow club members, and they know that the honor of being Club President will make up for the long hours and extra duties the role entails. The Rotary Club of Crescent City is proud to list Past Presidents in this space.
